Hydroxyesters (Acrylates and Methacrylates)

Our hydroxyesters are recommended for heat curing, thermoset coatings with permanent mar and solvent resistance, high gloss retention and weatherability. Crosslinking of the hydroxyfunctional prepolymers can, for example, be effected via melamine resins or blocked isocyanates (one-component systems) or multifunctional isocyanates (two-component systems). Our hydroxyesters also serve as adhesion promoters in reactive resins for bonding of metal surfaces.
