Ethermethacrylate
The favorable solution properties of ether functionality are combined with high monomer reactivity. Unbranched ether methacrylates behave as internal plasticizer and provide polymers with very low glass transition temperature. Due to their low volatility, these monomers can be used as reactive diluents for reactive resins. Long polyether side chains make the corresponding polymers water-soluble and capable of ion chelation.
