The price of all grades of XT® polymer acrylic-based multipolymer compounds and CYROLITE® acrylic-based multipolymer compounds (including CYROVU®, Vu-Stat®, CYRO® R30, and CYREX® alloys) will increase by $0.10/lb effective with shipments on or after April 1, 2008. The need for this increase is driven by recent raw material cost escalations which are still being felt along with increase in other areas such as energy, packaging and transportation.

The global CYRO/Evonik Methacrylates team continues to monitor the situation closely with a focus on identifying and implementing productivity programs in order to minimize these economic pressures.
